Both are wikis. Your contribution and ideas are welcome!

Privacy is the space in which ideas are developed, to retreat into whenever you want. This space is not only physical but digital as well. Governments and companies don't want to respect that so we become active ourselves.

CryptoParties are free and open for everyone, but especially ​those without prior knowledge, who haven't yet attended one.

CryptoParty is a decentralized movement with events happening all over the world. The goal is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This can include encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web and general security advice for computers and smartphones.

The CryptoParty Assembly at the 34th Chaos Communication Congress (27-Dec-2017 to 30-Dec-2017) in Leipzig is a place for:

• impromptu CryptoParties
• questions about CryptoParty
• people from the world-wide CryptoParty community
• and many other things

Everyone is welcome to add themselves as an assembly member on the 34C3 Wiki.

Want to know how to throw your own CryptoParty? We do it all the time all over the world. You're very much welcome to join the movement. You can drop in any time at the assembly.

Here we improve the existing documentation on this very website or in form of the CryptoParty Handbook, create new flyers, stickers, etc. Anything that helps people to improve their knowledge or spread the word. We will meet at the assembly for specific topics (see session list below). Feel free to add anything that might be missing to the wishlist.
