We'll start by getting 2020 vision into the data we share and how it impacts our well-being. We'll also improve our data hygiene by exploring the Data Detox Kit from Tactical Tech Collective to help reduce the harm coming from internet companies who monetize and monitor our data.

CryptoParties are free and open for everyone, but especially those without prior knowledge, who haven't yet attended one.
CryptoParty is a decentralized movement with events happening all over the world. The goal is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This can include encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web and general security advice for computers and smartphones.

The CyPurr Collective (formerly CryptoSquad NYC) is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game! Additionally, we offer personal security audits for groups/organizations who are concerned about their cyber-safety. Plus, we have some of the kewlest CryptoParties!
