Cryptoparties are a space for people of all technical skills to share skills and learn from each other about online privacy protection.

We’ll cover some recent examples in the news and the ways that defenses against digital harassment differ from those used against mass surveillance. Since this is particularly personal topic with less universal answers, we’ll be discussing both the harm that digital harassment causes and what we can do to reduce that harm by changing social media profiles or how we browse the Web.</font>
The CyPurr Collective is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game!

The CyPurr Collective (formerly CryptoSquad NYC) is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game!
